I like how your RRS matches your front door and the FL2 matches the garage door! Thumbs Up 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Well April came but the March madness continued Exclamation

Now a non RRS sPort owner.

15 years of Landrover ownership ended Big Cry

Only went out to buy a tin of paint Exclamation Question Exclamation Question

3 years virtually to the day, 32,000 trouble free miles.

Highs - Grin factor everyday, highly capable, touring, house removals, off roading, camping, towing, and the snow.

Lows- Coin scratches after 2 weeks ownership, Censored paint, only have to look at it and a scratch appears, low mpg, combined with stat nav system that takes the longest roundabout route to destination does not help the costs either.

Overall- Would I have another Question probably not.

Great vechicle and a heart wrenching decision to sell, never been so depressed about a new car coming, but never quite happy with the image that it created in other peoples minds. Would think a step sideways to Disco land, much more practical with kids much more internal space, though the FFRR could be another option.

Never say never though with the sport Thumbs Up

I once got offered one as a courtesy car because I wasn't a "genuine prospect" for a V8 and told them I'd rather go home on the train Rolling with laughter
If you want to go downmarket there are much better 4x4 options in the Audi stable. MY2011 HSE Santorini/Ivory/Piano Black/Privacy Glass/TV .Sadly gone.

such as Question

Will keep this car for about a year, one would hope Big Cry but looking to another 4x4 then, hadn't considered an Audi, probably due to their interiors of the ones I have seen

I wasn't sure about what I was going to get as my 2.7 SE contract was coming to an end and looked at both the RS4 and Q5 as about the only realistic alternatives but the costs were so close once I specced them up to my SE I decided to get another RRS. MY2011 HSE Santorini/Ivory/Piano Black/Privacy Glass/TV .Sadly gone.

Finest German engineering Whistle

Merc E280cdi Est Advantgarde

My first German car Exclamation

Decided any other more economical 4x4 would lead to many direct negative comparisons leaving me even more frustrated.

Computer readout indicating 42 mpg at moment over 300 miles mixed driving something never to be seen on a Sport Big Cry

Sold SWMBO's D3 last Feb and the replacement is on order, couldn't get a Merc as ILs have 2 and rave about them. It's just not worth the grief. 520d SE Touring auto with toys. Mr. Green

I've had three E's,1 petrol and 2 diesels, the E320 was superb until the engine started playing up.
