Guernsey 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Buckingham Blue

Chris,

Wish it had been that way round for me Exclamation

Probably a bit of an old mans car, though not old yet, on my way, a good stepping stone to a FFRR later maybe

United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Santorini Black

All mine were great cars, the latest one was a bit underpowered compared with the 3.0L petrol and 320cdi which I ran for 5 years but it was detuned for company tax purposes.
If you don't have problems with snow and hills they are great compared with other alternatives, very comfortable on long runs and lots of mpg which helps these days if you are doing the miles.
Bottom line you're not exactly slumming it are you Thumbs Up MY2011 HSE Santorini/Ivory/Piano Black/Privacy Glass/TV .Sadly gone.

England 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 Autobiography Fuji White

My RRSPORT was 3 years old last September. I had 2 choices, keep with my current or by new again. Having looked at the new model and all the work I've done on my own I decided to keep with my old. I had every scratch and ding repaired and then professionally detailed and valeted inside (although I keep it pretty clean anyway). I thn bought the extended warranty for £700ish and haven't looked back.

I love my car and like one of the guys said earlier - I still smile every time I drive it. I have even been known to give it an affectionate tap on the dash board!

Stick with the RRSPORT my friend - life's too short to penny pinch and you just won't get the enjoyment from a Freelander (IMHO!) Jaguar XKR Convertible

Rolling with laughter

Playing around today noticed I had several Rear interior lights, they even switch on and off when you open the rear doors Whistle

I had an e270 CDI Avantgarde before the RRS and the one thing I miss is the interior lighting. Having 3 zones of interior lights ( over 25 interior bulbs IIRC) which only worked when it was dark seems liken stupid thing to miss, but the poor interior lights on the sport are my only gripe with this car

I must admit that I miss the lights too I spent 25 minutes in the dark the other night looking for the bloody car keys with the engine still running just in case i had to drive back home as I couldnt stop the car in case it didnt start again. Interior lights at the back would have been a great help, instead I was waving my phone around.
Damn Keyless start Grrr Smile

Scotland 2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Bonatti Grey

Having just driven a manual freelander as a courtesy car I would have to say that you would be completely bonkers to go down to a freelander from a RRS. I'd be depressed if I had to drive that every day having experienced the sport. 3.0 SDV6 HSE Dynamic, Corris Grey with contrast Santorini Black Panoramic Roof, lunar interior, privacy glass, upgraded Meridian system, cooled 18 way front seats, heated steering wheel, adaptive xenons, large screen wash bottle.

Gone: 3.0 TDV6 HSE, Santorini Black, Ivory/Lunar interior, grand black lacquer finish, HK Logic 7.1 Surround, Privacy Glass, Adaptive Xenons, heated steering wheel.

Gone: Jaguar XF Luxury, Pearl Grey, Dove Interior

England

I decided to down-grade just after Xmas and looked at all sorts of cars, came really close to getting a Q5 or even a Honda CRV but I just could not do it.

In the end I picked up a 2 year old Disco 3, it had all the toys of my old RRS (ok, so no adaptive cruise) had another years worth of warranty, used less fuel and allowed me to put £6k back into my bank account!

Having done about 5000 miles so far I am really pleased that I made the change, ok so I often miss the extra grunt of the chipped TDV8 but thats about it, the two drive very similar and it simply feels like a slightly larger RRS........certainly worth a thought!

Daz Thumbs Up 2017 4.4 Autobiography FFRR - love this car
Gone - VW T5 Transporter
Long gone - 2009 Disco
Long gone but never out of my thoughts - 2008 TDV8 HST
