UK Midlands Mini meet

There's a few rumblings of midlands owners getting together for a mini meet sometime. NickP and I have already met up as we are only 3 miles away from each other.

Seems others would like to? Anyone is welcome, doesn't have to be midlands only but we could base the meet in the midlands for centrality.

Any initial thoughts on good dates or locations? Has to be somewhere we can all park up next to each other so I can get some good pictures for the forum and perhaps we can have a beer in a nice country pub too.

Answers on a postcard as they say! Very Happy Now: Range Rover Vogue TD6, JE Stage 1. (Green!)

Count me in!

Count me in.. definitely.
Would be good to meet some like minded individuals with info to share.
I live around Bham so anywhere within 40 miles radius would be good for me.
I know of this small hotel just down the road from the rear of the landrover works on the A45 just off the M42 motorway by the NEC/Bham airport junction.

The hotel can be viewed here:
http://www.4hotels.co.uk/uk/hotels/gableshote.html
i know the owners, we used it recently for a family function, they have quite a big carpark in nice surroundings, bar/restaurant/function room open to all.
If we could get an idea of numbers we could sort out a booking, although the bar is open to any one from the public so we could just all decend there one sunday lunch and not have to bother with bookings etc?

Its nice and private away from prying eyes screened from the main road, but its central location is ideal.
Would not mind setting this up if we get enough interest? Past: Bmw M3 Coupe 57, 335d Coupe 56, Audi RS4 06, RR Sport TD HSE 05,

Anyone else?
Would make it one sunday lunch time or afternoon in the near future.
Any objections to throwing this open to some lads at the Bm3w forum as well, would be good to get a few X5 owners down, and the odd M3 and M5, i know there were about 10 guys living around the midlands who consented to a meet before but we never got round to arranging a venue and a time.. Past: Bmw M3 Coupe 57, 335d Coupe 56, Audi RS4 06, RR Sport TD HSE 05,

doesn't that negate the point of a RRS meet though by having 'intruders' there? Shocked Now: Range Rover Vogue TD6, JE Stage 1. (Green!)

Absolutely, as long as they go and buy an RRS, I'm sure they'll be welcome Wink

I would be up for a meet as I'm only down near Gaydon, but I go back to university this weekend Sad Martin

Martin,

Hope you don't mind me asking but are you a mature student?
