I'm also struggling with October dates due to Cup Rugby matches and my Wife is a Head-Teacher so half term holidays to fit in Cool
So, lets look towards mid/end of November which appears to be favourite with most of us.

Anywhere will be OK with me ( UK that is ) Wink

Sorry guys, 13th Nov is out.. won't be back from Turkey till the Mon morning following.

Fly out to Pakistan on 24th, so sunday 20th is looking like the best date for me?

Is that any good?

I think that's going to be OK for me too, so let's put this date down as the tentative one. L319 D4 HSE

Well, I know it's not picturesque but a good place to park up with lots of space around us is Corley Services on the M6 inbetween the M69 and M42. The car park there usually has loads of room.

I don't know the area however so not sure where we could go afterwards, I am definitiely NOT eating in the service station! It's horrendous.

Any suggestions Kam as you are fairly close by? L319 D4 HSE

After a bit of searching around on Multimaps checking out where corley actually is Confused i remembered that the hotel where we have my sisters wedding booked for is very close to there..

They have a large private car park in very nice gardens, and a massive restaurant and bar area (for the passengers) just made a quick call, and as its sunday, they serve sunday lunch between hours of 12-2pm.

Price per head is £10.95 and they have a selection of food on their menu.. The hotel is easily accessible off the M6 and M42, and is in a very nice setting, so should be a nice meet spot really...

I dunno, may be get there for 12ish, have some scoff then spend afternoon looking over the cars and have a (soft) drink before we depart..?

Any other suggestions...? This is off the M6 down the road from the services.. i hate services and think we may draw a lot of unwanted attention pulling up in the RRS's.. and i too refuse to eat food at the services!

Also when i spoke to the hotel restaurant, they advised that if we are a big group, to book ahead a 'head count' so that they can guarantee a table and have it all ready.. i dunno what the figures are looking like so far, on the members list we have a lot of members living around the midlands area and maybe many more outfield who may be willing to travel so.. lets start getting some names together.. the proposed date is Sunday 20th November, between about 12pm-4pm.

As per my PM to Kam, I am also in, and the wife says she is coming too.

Wonder how many of us will be washing the car beforehand! L319 D4 HSE
