Changing the nearside low beam bulb the other day and dropped the metal clip that clamps over each side of electrical block and holds the bulb in the headlamp unit.. it disappeared down some recess in the engine bay and now is completely lost...

The same set up is shown in my handbook for halogen types but sadly no sign of that clip in the parts diagram that I can see. You could try TLO (The Large One) over on DISCO3.CO.UK - Parts Manager at Yeovil Land Rover).

Zilch, I think I have bad news for you. I did a search for these thingys a while back and they, at the time, were not identified as an individual item, just the higher assembly.

Steve i have asked ALTO to see if they anything coming back under repair/warranty that they can strip out and will ping ivery as suggested
