2006 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Zermatt Silver

I always cringe when I slam the bonnet, but not for the reasons mentioned above.
A while back, I slammed the bonnet, only to have it spring back open again.
The safety catch wasn't aligned with it's slot properly, and completely bent flat!
It took quite a few attempts to bend it back (without it snapping off).
I always shut the bonnet now putting pressure on the first and last "R" to ensure it shuts straight (I still cringe though!).

Bob.

Talk about resurecting a dead thread .. All I can say is things never change ... Had to use the bang it and hope method on the 05 disco3 ... first day out on the freeway in the 10my RRS and what do you know ... left side flapping in the breeze ... Use same method to slam it shut and no further probs.

You would recon after 5 or so years they would have fixed it at the factory ..

I'll get my dealer to do the adjustment at next service ... 14 RRS SCV6 HSE Corris/Ebony/Ivory
