Fitting a Sat Nav

Hi

Can anyone tell me how easy is it to fit a sat nav to a RRS SE 2006, are all the plugs needed behind the dash.

Thanks
Paul

I doubt it's that easy - the sat nav box sits under the passenger seat (UK cars!) and the whole system needs to be linked up with other bits. Best bet is to get a 3rd party sat nav and get it neatly installed in the space. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

If the question is "how easy is it to retrofit the OEM satnav to a car that doesn't have it" then the answer is "not easy" (well for most people anyway), but if you're asking for example, how easy is it to install something like a TomTom then much easier. It only needs power and that can be got from a lot of places if you're not wanting to have it installed professionally...

There is also an excellent description of how to integrate a TomTom into a Freelander2 dash over on Freel2.co.uk. It isn't for the feint-hearted though! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
