JKP Detail - Site Sponsor

Hi folks, I maybe should have put this up in the welcome forum, but thought I'd post here.

I've just finished chatting with Martin over expanding my sponsorship of the forums. I was only over on Disco3, but I now sponsor D3, RRS and FL2.

I run and operate JKP Detail, a detailing service covering mainly central Scotland, but have worked on cars over the UK. Services I offer range from simple external protection details to full paint correction. Interior work from a simple vacuum to full leather clean and protection treatment. I also offer Monthly, bi-monthly or quarterly maintenance contracts that can be tailored to what you want.

I also run an on-line shop, which I will be changing soon, but I carry a range of cleaning products from shampoo's and mitts to claybars and wax/sealants. My main range is Dodo Juice, as I am an authorised detailer with them and rate their products highly. I use their products for detailing and on my own vehicles.

If you are looking for cleaning products, then drop me a PM. Discounts will vary by product, but they will be in the region of 10% off RRP for forum members. I will also be running (when I remember Embarassed ) a monthly special on products/ services. So would welcome suggestion as to what people would like.

Maybe not the best as my photography skills need work on, but the pics below show what can be achieved.

So, there you go. That's what I can offer as a site sponsor Thumbs Up

I'll be putting a post up with products and service offers soon.

Best Regards, John

Nice one - never been one for cleaning my own cars very much, but respect the results of those that do. Very impressive Thumbs Up

Thanks chaps Thumbs Up

As a general rule for work being done on cars.

Any new customers to me who would like paint correction, this work would have to be done at my location, based in West Lothian, Central Scotland, unless you have a suitable clean covered area for me to work in.

I am mobile for basic protection details/valets as weather influences and surrounding environment are minimal...usually.

I'm fully insured, with proof of insurance for a free collection and delivery service within 30 miles normally, but expanding to 50 miles for forum members from EH47 postcode. Or if you'd like to drop it off, I will give you a run home and collect you once work is complete. Thumbs Up

Anywork taken outwith the 50mile radius could still be done, but 'cost' expenses would be applicable. i.e diesel for the van. Unlike some valeters/detailers I do not make profit on expenses from a customer. Any cost will be agreed upfront. I have no intention in becoming an MP.

I'll be putting together a couple of opening offers to forum members shortly.

Regards, John

Awesome job on the paint. You forgot to amoral under the wheel arches. I don't like the shiny stuff on the mats and the leather. If you did that to my car I would I would not be happy....but although I would support you if I could, its a bit far for me!

Thanks for the comments.

Not sure about amoral under the arches, but they are cleaned and dressed. The mats and seats are only showing shine as I had a couple of 500w lamps shining on them to allow me to take the pic as the flash was not enough. Rolling Eyes

I can do shiny or matt finish, whatever the owner prefers, as I would not like to make any of them be 'not happy' with me or more importantly my work. Thumbs Up

I make a point of not forgetting to do any of the car, and do a pre-handback check and walk round with the client. Anything I stupidly miss is rectified. Which I'm pleased to say is not very often.

...John

Italy 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black

Nice Job, John, I am very impressed.
I am really fond of car valeting products.
I spend a lot of money for them and, oddly enough, I find it cheaper to buy them on the expensive bay on internet rather than here in Italy in my local shop.

Don't laugh at me guys, but I wash and wax my cars at least once a week.
So I believe that every offer coming from our new friend (with respect to products to by purchased on line) will be much appreciated.

Hope to find it easily in the tons of topics throughout the site.

Well done MArtin, well done John.
Ciao.
Gianluca

I'd like a price for a detail if you can come to Aberdeen....
- I know a garage for rent where you can work... They charge about £20 a day.

Let me know if interested. 2022 P440e AB
