Even if you decide to take your pride and joy to the dealers, they will call out Autoglass to do the job for them. But at least you will be safe in the knowledge that they will ensure that the outer a posts are secured correctly and there is no damage to your bodywork. Arctic Frost TDV6 SE. About windscreen, I have an awful wind noise coming front the lower left end ( you know in front of the driver in ''normal'' countries Whistle ) starting at 50 KM/H and getting worse when speed increases.

Any idea?

BTW it's NOT raining here so no leaks Laughing Whistle

It could be broken clip at the bottom of your outer A post. Try giving it a wiggle, it should be secure and there should be no gaps between the screen and the thin rubber seal on the inner edge of the A post.

Another couple of potential causes are:

a) a gap between the wing mirror cheater and the door. Check that the wing mirror trim is fitted flush to the door.

b) the window seal could be tucked in on itself along the leading edge of the door creating a little hole that the wind whistles into.

c) it could be down to the alignment of the front door to the front wing. If the door is outboard of the wing it could create the wind noise you mention. To check for this just place the edge of a bank card across the gap between the wing and the front door. The door should be slightly inboard or at most flush with the wing. Arctic Frost TDV6 SE. Thanks a lot TB.

1/the windscreen is secured and there is no gap between the lower seal and the A pillar.

a/ I noticed a very slight gap between the wing mirror cheater and the door (1mm at the most)
b/ checked OK.
c/ It's flush.

I also noticed that the main rubber seal around the windscreen is not really ''sticking'' to the lower part of the windscreen. Is that normal?

Otherwise after checking all the seals around the doors I did not saw anything obviously wrong.
