Mike, the only hope (And some would say reason) Porsche bought VAG is so that they can claim the VW stable of small cars as part of their entire fleet of models which they hope will offset some of the higher CO2 Porsche models.

Porsche are imminently launching direct injection engines in the 997 range, one model which is destined for UK produces 225g/km (Which I think may be significant for UK road tax ) Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award
