Why not just carry a set until it gets to stage 3 ie all vehicles and then get the hell out of there, thus complying with the law. |

depends how much on mountain you do. most problem is from the ice and not snow. if you do alot of skiing then get snow tyres as I do -from Richard at SNOWTYRES.COM.AU in Camberwell. Also known as Roof Carrier Systems. He has great knowledge on the chains. With snow tyres /4wd you will not need chains.Just carry and old pair(which you know will not fit) just in case you are checked.See Richard |

Just as a suggestion, depending on which resorts your are skiing is to call National Parks.
