Australia 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV6 SE Stornoway Grey

Peter, sorry to hear about the Roo. I had a close call last Monday morning on the Federal Hwy. RRS bakes work well!!!! Jonathon picked up the lights ok this morning. Now you have an extra set to play with.

For WD, I can certainly recommend either Ray or Graeme for any non-genuine work. Both are perfectionists. My vehicle goes in for its 12 000km service in a couple of weeks. I'll probably use Trivett's in Sydney again. I'm envious about the TDV8. maybe next time for me.

We seem to be getting a few RRSPORT members down this way. GefRRspts350 is also in Canberra and also a member of the Land Rover Club of the ACT.

Steve RRS TDV6, Stornoway Grey, Tasmod Sills, Active Rear Diff, AVN 6000 player inc DVD, Sat Nav, TV, Rear Camera and Front/Side Looking Camera, HDD Media Player, Parrot Bluetooth, UHF, Sat Phone, Dual Battery, Rhino Racks, Snorkel, ARB Air Compressor.

Thanks Steve
Now I can play with the internal headlight mods I have in mind...thanks.
Yes the brakes on the RRS are tops, but I was in the Elephant Big Cry
BTW I couldn't have avoided it no matter what I was in.........it was a classic suicide.

Australia 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV8 SE Chawton White

Hi Steve,

Yes I met Geoff in a car park in Phillip. I pulled him aside and asked what he really thought of the RRS from the point of view of an owner instead of me having the wade my way through al the marketing hype. It was Geoff who put me onto this site originally.

Thanks for the leads on th mechanical side of things. I got mine under the LR coprorate plan which includes three years of free servicing, so I might be stuck with the ACT guys for the short term Sad Just a white TDV8 with a few extras

Hi aljo

To put it simply (and this will be the third prototype) to utilise 50w HID bulbs in what Steve calls a tri xenon set up using the standard non xenon light units (which do not shake) taking advantage of the sharp cutoff of the bulb shutter on low beam to minimise oncoming glare and adjusting the angular displacement between high and low beam to achieve a better high beam penetration. This may involve removal of the internal light baffles, etc etc. Shocked
Are you glad you asked? Laughing Laughing

BTW when you colour coded your lights did you use the antics22 method to dismantle them and if you did was it 230degrees c at 4 minutes or have I got it wrong.

!st service due now and I'll go back to Lance Dixon in Doncaster Vic.

The ACT dealers are rubbish...can elaborate the damage they have done to my previous vehicles when you have a few hours..
If You are coming down the Princes Hwy Give the mob at Morwell a go. I bought My D3 there and could not be happier with the servicing/warranty results.
BTW LD at Doncaster fixed, well changed, My compressor last weekend and did a good job.

Had a few drinks with a Cooma lad last night, in the social club, after the football.
