Welcome Working Dog

Just back from my usual week in Peakview
Only hit one roo tonight..........lucky I was in the P38a only about $2000-00 damage.

Nearly winter...frosts already but only about -2C so far

Would love to see the V8 when you get it !!

Hi Ivery

Thanks for the welcome. I know what it is like with the roos and other wildlife here on the roads. The bullbars on the two Saharas I own have been great - I just hope that something comes out for the RRS .......soon Neutral

What are you doing up at Peakview? Its not a place that comes to top of mind as somewhere to find a RRS !!

More than happy to catch up once the V8 arrives - looks like August/september at this stage

Thanks S

I hurt my foot when I stopped and went back and kicked Censored out of the carcase.
(only because I couldn't find the iron bar and we are not allowed to carry our guns around anymore )
Bloody things##########

WD

My bit of forest is up there between Peakview and Jerangle and I stay with my old mate at Peakview.
No I haven't taken the RRS on the dirt tracks yet but I might have to until I put some lights back in the elephant (P38).

Ivery,

Good to hear that you are OK. Tire irons or Car jacks can do the job at a pinch as well.

Have you tried the "Shoo Roos"??

Ivery,

We are sitting on a couple of hundred acres on Lake Jindabyne. Very Happy

Where abouts on the coast are you?

And more importantly where do you get your RRS serviced?

See my profile for exact location in Tathra. (members map )

!st service due now and I'll go back to Lance Dixon in Doncaster Vic.

The ACT dealers are rubbish...can elaborate the damage they have done to my previous vehicles when you have a few hours..

StephenW uses Trivett's in Sydney....... If they are any good might consider changing to them.
For any non factory work I use either Ray Spence at Canberra Motor Works (A1 ) or Graeme Cooper in Sydney.

We lost a couple of float planes in Lake Jindy quite some time back........still get calls about wreckage being found. Used to launch them from Weston's property on the Western shore just underneath the Island bend end.
I spent half my early life in the KNP as my father's company was the State Park architect for many years.
Lots of good times and funny stories.

I have a fair idea on where Tarthra is..

I suspected as much on the Canberra Dealers - I haven't heard too many good reports.

Were you the guys doing the Sydney Charters with the float planes?

We are on the opposite side of the Lake from Westons - probably on the that big step hill that you had to clear with the float planes Laughing

When the car turns up we might have to catch up and share some stories over a few Schnapps from the local distillery Wink
