car cleaning

if any one is interested im putting together a deal to be able to get a small di resin water filters that will connect to a hose pipe
so you can rinse the car and leave no water marks
a bit like the flash one and the aqua gleam
should do around 150 to 300 rinses depends how hard your water is
and it is refillable
should be £70 to £90 still waiting on final prices
let me know who is interested
thanks steve

I'm in.

I, and others, tried to arrange a group buy for a similar product here
http://www.rrsport.co.uk/forum/topic6450.html?highlight=group+buy

It fell apart as the companies we contacted want someone to take the full order and ship from owns own home etc.... Not great / too much hassle.

Are the one's you have tracked down better then the £40 ones we had in the post above? 2022 P440e AB

I've seen filters before for around the £40 mark

there does seem to be a bit of a price difference, but there are a few different types of filters out their

I use the FLASH car wash system, well just the spotless filter side of it Thumbs Up

i will be refillable and should out last the others by about 5x
i have one on test and i have been using for the last 6 months
and have just refilled it last week
it has done around 80 washes and even my work pickup

I had the flash one first but would only get 4 washes out of it on my sport
so about £5 a wash
as apposed to about £1 a wash
and after that its just the price of the refill about £15
80 washes =18p
i live in a very hard water area
if your water is quite soft you should get up to 10x what i do
thanks steve

price wise the one which your looking at is not too bad

The flash one might have cost £5 per wash due to the initial outlay, but the refill water filters are only £1.00 or 20p a wash.

don't take that as been negative Thumbs Up , I have been thinking about getting a proper filter anyway

Could you let us know what brand they are or a website so i could do a little research Thumbs Up

The flash system here is the Mr Clean AutoDry .... I was asking over on the US site for a more in line hosepipe system as also.... Here in Houston the water is so full of disolved solids its no joke washing dark cars... I pay $34 for a hand wash just to save time polishing out the water marks.... its a pain and expensive so any alternative would long term save me $$$$.... Brit across the Pond Wink
