Here's a thought in view of Darling throwing another £40 billion at the troubled bank...........IF the government does nationalise the Northern Rock Bank, will it mean that all the property they have in their portfolio suddenly becomes council housing ?? I'm a better class of investor, I'm with the Alliance and Leicester - only 5 months left to go and I will be mortgage free! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I'm just awaiting the settlement of my uncle's estate and he had a 6 figure sum invested with Northern Rock, I'm hoping it will keep afloat until it is out Sons of dogs come hither and get flesh
