Whoever told you to buy one of them VA?
A Milemarker Hydraulic winch with a power takeoff pump (rather than a steering pump driven system) is much better. They just pull and pull and pull, never overheat and never burn out. Not the fastest winches on earth but you won't need a split charging system for the spare battery and there is next to no maintenance, and they don't mind going underwater, unlike a an electric winch. I'm getting one for the 90, and it will be portable so I can use it on the front or the back. OK they cost a bit more but you will save in the long term. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

It's all about authenticity! The Warn is the right kit for the car, it might not be the best but that's not the point. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten
