Either you are driving it very lightly or you're very very lucky.... in 12 months and 26k of (granted, unchipped) motorway driving I never really got much more than 25mpg

Bigmart don't get so touchy. As long as you are happy with your purchase that's all that matters. You don't have to be a and follow the crowd. I certainly didn't. In answer to the above quote. Yes it did.....as long as I drove it very carefully. Which I did on more than one occasion. Managed 32 - 35 ish. But if I didn't it probably averaged around 22 - 25. returning from cornwall to durham via norwich at the weekend ... filled up for the first time with BP ultimate on the M5 ...averaged 37-39 mpg @ 60 -70 mph ... got up to 42mpg at one point 1.04p per litre compared to 0.95p normal diesel i use
