United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Zermatt Silver

Hi All, purchased a 2007 RRS 3 weeks ago appears to have an excellent service record and is totally immaculate it's the TDV8 & has covered just 87,000 miles the only problem I've had is one of the rear doors actuator switch which I've had replaced. Had several Japanese 4x4s over the years but have to admit the RRS is the most comfortable out of all of them, very pleased with my fuel consumption travelled from Lincolnshire to Battle last weekend 332 mile round trip & used 50 litres of fuel around 30mpg so well pleased. Hope to gain a lot of good info from this forum.

I too have just bought a TDV8 RRS HSE on 08 plate with 87k. Also a 1 owner car from new - which seems pretty rare based on my 4 weeks of searching/viewing. Nice and tidy, whilst not mint, with matching Pirelli’s although the wheels need a refurb. It’s had LR servicing for the first 5 years and independent thereafter, with a nice file of receipts. I bought it with 2 known faults, which were taken into consideration with the reduced price I paid. They were a knock from the front suspension and rear suspension sag over time. Turned out to be ARC bushes, and rear suspension sensors. I’m also having the rear brake pipes done at the same time as they weren’t looking good.

Mine is Buckingham Blue with Cream leather (not my top choice, but acceptable) sunroof, no privacy glass which is nice. Got a few changes and bits & bobs I want to do.

Cheers,

TC.

United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Lux Firenze Red

Hi everyone.
I'm in the process of buying my first rrs. It is a Dec 2011 manufactured vehicle (2012MY). It is in red and has done 88k miles with FSH, but not all JLR. Last was carried out by an indy. It has the Overfinch GTS kit which imo looks fantastic. I was excited at the prospect of owning such a vehicle but after reading the horror stories on the engine I'm having a change of heart. I should be collecting the car next week, but might backtrack on the deal now. Are they as problematic as people report..? Any advise would be gratefully welcomed. Thanks... Damian

United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Santorini Black

Well after many different cars since my last rrs sport I’m now back and driving a p400e, I’m really happy with it and it s performing better than I thought, there is one thing though as with all rrs sport something never quite right!! There is a loud thud noise whilst driving, to me it sounds like a relay or something switching on and off, never heard it on the demo cars I drove, anyone else own a 2020 p400?

Hi all

Very new to the ownership club but good gravy it's great...when it works...

I feel bad but I'm doing the classic 'Have a problem, join a forum' thing.

Hopefully we'll get past the issues because it's a fantastic car.

Welcome to the forum, regarding finding the paint shade - Pop the bonnet open and on the plate on top of the radiator there should be a sticker with the VIN and below that it should give you the body colour and paint code, it can sometimes also be found in the driver’s door surround area
For a pre-facelift 2010 it will be Galway Green, if it is the facelift model then there were three Metallic “Greens “ -Galway Green and 2 others (extremely rare they are too) Marmaris Teal and Lugano Teal which are bluish greens. And Lugano could be almost black on an overcast winter’s day! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW
