Hi Everyone.
I am pleased to join this club as I have had a passion for Range Rover since I worked for Land Rover Australia from mid 70,s until the late 80,s. During this period I had Range Rovers as company cars and soon realised that they were light years ahead of the 'Japanese '4WD,s being sold in Aussie at that time. I alwaye had GREAT satisfaction and pride stopping to tow these pretenders out of bogs and deep creek crossings durig my many trips to visit dealers in remote and harsh parts of outback Aust. GREAT FUN! When I left Land Rover in 1988 to join a French Car brand I vowed I would have another Rangie as soon as I retired. So 2years ogo I at last acheived this goal, A 2.7 td with black trim and premium nav, int, phone, seat mem, Adaptive Bi.Xenon H,lights,Tow pack,and Hi, Ice at last hit the garage.
Since then we have covered 70.000 km, most of this with a 20ft. 2' and half ton caravan in tow and you still cannot wipe the smile from my face. Every time we go out it amases me more. Brilliant. I can stiill pass lot of hose Jap pretenders,

New to RRSport

Two monthe with the Sport noe and just cant stop driving the dam thing. It is well up to expectations. 3000 miles on the clock and not a hick up.
Looking to the experience day this month.
So far I'm dissapoind I didn't get one years ago.

Greetings!!

Hi there All!

Have been hovering around this site since I got my S/C in March, loads of useful information here its great Exclamation

So just thought I'd introduce myself, now that I've signed up Smile . After many years as a Land Rover owner (Defenders and Classics) I've finally got my mits on an RRS S/C Very Happy after importing it from the US to Oman.

Absolutely loving the power and refinement!!

Got loads planned over the next couple of months to make it fit for purpose over here, AT tyres, Roof Rack, RAI, underbody protection, colour coding etc... then funds allowing internal upgrade to included decent satnav/ dvd/ tv interface and maybe some subtle styling like remove the wood and replace with brushed aliminium etc we'll see.
