Easy to wip out one of the headlights and see if it has a lever ..if not its in the dash menu

The dash menu only sets the high beam assist for LH and RH driving by appointing the system to monitor the left front or right front side of the car. It does not change the asymmetrical low beam pattern to LH or RH, this is done by the lever in the headlight itself. Regards etc.,

The headlamps on the last of the L320's didn't have the lever to adjust either due to the beam pattern, I personally found the high beam assist a waste of time as well.

Cheers

From the owners manual:-

HEADLAMPS - DRIVING ABROAD
The headlamps have a beam pattern that
eliminates the need to mechanically adjust the
lamps or add any external stick-on decals.
To configure the High beam assist system for
the side of the road on which you are driving,
proceed as follows:
1. Using the menu control on the steering
wheel, select Vehicle set-up via the
Instrument panel menu.
2. Select High Beam Assist.
3. Select Drive on Left or Drive on Right, for
the side of the road that you are driving.

The move to the not-adjustable pattern is presumably why the L320 facelift headlights are not as good as the originals, at least in terms of beam shape and penetration of the beam down a road. Another cost saving measure that made the overall performance worse. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
