Is the hydraulic pressure reading OK? I ask, as the connectors for the accelerometer and pressure sensor are the same, and can be mixed up

Thanks for the reply. Fairly sure plugs are not mixed up as the fault has just appeared. However I will check.....assume you are referring to one of the four plugs on the valve block adjacent to the sensor ?

When stationary, the accelerometer should read close to 0

Thanks for the reply. I kind of assumed it should be zero if you are not moving but with these things you can never tell. Thanks for confirming. Still got the original so I can have a look. The wiring is what concerns me. How on earth to track down a breakage between there and I assume its ecu. I have ordered a plug/wiring (plug not serviceable) just in case its that. |

A final update on this subject.....After testing everything else I finally traced this fault to the ARC module. when I opened up the module it had an area which was burnt out. After replacing the module all faults cleared and normal operation has been restored. If anyone else experiences this fault showing an accelerometer fault and cant clear it, may well be worth removing your module and checking it for any obvious faults. |
