Front wheel arch liner clips

Hi All,

My recently purchased RRS seems to be missing some clips on the rear carpeted section of the front wheel arch liner. The liner itself seems pretty loose at the side (pic attached hopefully)

I bought some of the plastic push fit clips thinking that's what was missing, but behind those holes there doesn't seem to be anything to actually clip them in to. There looks to be some sound deadening, but nothing the clips push in to.

Am I missing something obvious here?

The two holes opposite each other are for TPMS sensor receivers, not that they ever fitted that model of sensor to the 494, but you are correct there is nothing behind them, trim just tucks into the wing/bumper edge at that position plus 2 screws and 3 push clips in total for the under liner, at the lower front edge there are 2 screws that go up through the brake air diffuser.

Thanks for the info.
Ah ok, that makes some sense. I thought I was missing a bracket or something.

Unfortunately mine doesn't stay put on either side of the car. I have the rest of the push clips and the 2 screws in at the bottom, but they both just end up popping out round the edge, like in the pic.
It does look like it's kind of split or cracked so I guess it just doesn't have the rigidity to stay in place. I'll see if I can fashion a way to strengthen it and maybe they'll stay put!

The 2 screws in the bottom are corroded and just spin, so I can't get them out either!
