Serious or not?

Not sure if any of you of experienced this problem.. I was driving 30mph when I get a fault "bell" and the screen says suspension fault vehicle lean when cornering, the sat nav and radio shut down, indicators don't work.

I parked on the side and turned the car off, and then turned the key but nothing would happen, no engine noise at all.. LR assistance guy came by and spent an hour on it but could not get the car started and his laptop could not connect with the car for some reason. So no diagnosis was possible. A truck came by to take it to the dealers.

Is this serious or not? The car is a Sep 2005 (55) SC with 5000 miles only.

Sounds like a battery or power supply issue. Low battery output can send "ghost" messages. TB would be the man to ask. Doesn't sound major though and it's under warranty so dont worry! Good Luck! Thumbs Up MY12 SDV6 HSE Sumatra/Ebony/Piano/Sidesteps/Privacy/Overfinch Olympus/JLR DRLs

Sounds pretty serious if Land Rover assist cannot get it to do anything at the roadside.......... these guys are usually pretty good at getting you going again when the electronics play up. I wonder if because of it's age and exceptionally low mileage it hasn't had the various electronic upgrades done at service time - are you the first owner of the car? 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced

No there's no previous owner, I just live in London and work close by so that explains the low mileage. The LR assistance guy was very surprised that he could not connect to the car, which doesn't sound great. He seemed to think it was a problem derived from the main electronic system not necessarily an actual suspension fault.

Doc I've had your problem with the bushes and it got fixed in early March after several trips to the dealer, though while it sounds much better, I think I still hear clunk now and then.

Hello YY ....

I too have a SEPT 05 [ 55 ] Supercharged - but I have covered an imense 15000 miles ... Wink joking apart I had exactly the same problem - turned out to be a completely NAF - Dead Battery causing all my faults/alarms and eventual dead car - same as yours.

Hope this is the case - as simple to fix. Car was only a few months old - if you do a search in " My RRS " section you will find all the details with regard to this.

Cheers

According to the service guy, there is a fiber optic cable that links all the electronic devices in the car. There are 5 or 6 modules connected to this fiber optic cable. This cable was being "pinched" somewhere, and this leads to the disabling of all the modules.
