House to motorway 5km on electric….. speed up and engine starts automatically from 0 to 4000 RPM from stone cold !
Mechanical pain and pity for the delicate petrol lump (which is rumoured to be a bit unreliable anyway).
How do I avoid this without a complex warm-up sequence ?
