I just recorded this sound, is it the front diff perhaps? Usually begins around 30mph and maintains even in neutral. Continuous and you can hear the pitch change as I slow down to a stop. You may also hear my dad in the passenger seat swearing!

All hubs have been checked as I hoped it was one of those but I think the diff seems more likely now.

I have discovered that as I turn to the right the sound disappears until I straighten up again. Turning left does not change the sound.

I changed out the front diff oil but the sound persists.

Sounds like it is coming from the front, if it stops as I turn right does that identify which one? I think it is nearside but not completely sure!

I changed out the fluid which had little to no effect. MOT came back clean except two advisories for the front two bearings!

So I'm trying to change those but having a nightmare getting the axle nuts off!
