You might save £1.4k which was what I paid to have my rear bar replaced.

Not discounting the Blue Devil , sent an email to Manufacturer and still waiting for a reply. So went with Granville meantime. Thanks

I have purchased 1ltr of blue devil as i was planning on replacing the rear ace bar next year so its worth trying, I just need to find out the amount of hydraulic fluid thats in the ace system on a 2010 3.6 v8 does anyone know the capacity? Then i can work how much of the blue devil to put in, Then i will keep the thread updated over the coming months to see if this stuff actually works on the Ace systems or not.

3 Fluid ounces doesn't sound a lot . I was advised the the Granville stop leak required the whole can which is 0.375 ml oh well Ill report my findings as well.

Hi i checked with a friend in America that used it and he checked an email he had from the company stating that for the ACE system that’s the quantity to use he said you do t use massive amounts of this stuff. He is a farmer over there and uses it on his tractors and other hydraulics and used it on his RR .
He sent me this from the reply he got .

BlueDevil Hydraulic Stop Leak is safe and compatible to use in your Land Rover. You should apply 1 ounce of BlueDevil per every 1 quart of fluid capacity; more is not better. Thumbs Up

Long time since I went to school, but I think 3 fl.oz is about 90ml (88.7206 to be exact). Laughing

Cheers

Cheers Col, Thats not alot then but i suppose the key is not to put too much in, This bottle is nearly a litre so theres alot of waste, Still if it does work its worth it. My other question is the filter in the valve block, is it worth replacing before or after using blue devil?
