DPF ISSUE

Hi all

I've got a really weird one here. I have an early 2008 2.7 tdv6 without a dpf filter and I have a message keep coming up on my dash telling me it's full and to visit dealer.

Any advise would be muchly appreciated

Thanks Arron

Are you sure it doesn't have a DPF fitted? Some 2008 TDV6 could have them fitted. You'd need to physically check to see if there's one there. Or perhaps it's had one removed and a bodge done to fool the ECU and the bodge has now failed causing the error.

Or it could be as simple as a dodgy battery causing errors because the volts are getting low. They don't like dodgy batteries, these cars. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

thanks for the reply

i have checked and it doesn't have a dpf but as you said someone else could have remove and replaced the exhaust system to a standard one.

i bought the car and then realised the screen on the instrument cluster wasn't working. i removed and the previous owner had put tape over disguising the error message of dpf full.

i have an IID tool so just awaiting to hear back from GAP to see if this can be removed from the ecu.

I did an ecu flash with the IId tool and it seems to have solved the problem 👍
