Fog lights

Both my front and rear fog lights stopped working and the fog light symbol also does not display on dash? Any ideas??? Will have a look at fuses but would the fog light symbol stop displaying on the dash if fuse went out? RRS SUPERCHARGED, 22 INCH ALLOYS, JAVA BLACK, FULLY COLOUR CODED

Could be a wire rubbed behind the front bumper.

Probably a fuse under the bonnet if both front and rear have stopped

Will check the fuse tomorrow, also noticed the symbol for the fog lights on dashboard did not work either, would a blown fuse also stop the fog light on the dash to not display? RRS SUPERCHARGED, 22 INCH ALLOYS, JAVA BLACK, FULLY COLOUR CODED

Quick look at wiring diagram if I read it correctly the instrument warning lights are powered of the same fuses as the lamps, both front and rear fogs are on different fuses, No. 38 for the fronts and 32 for the rears although No. 44 is mentioned as well in the diagram but diagram could be wrong as that is listed as transmission shift display or something like that. That's on a pre-facelift car.

Cheers
Col

Thanks Col, I have a 2006 pre facelift, are the fuses located in the glovebox or engine bay? RRS SUPERCHARGED, 22 INCH ALLOYS, JAVA BLACK, FULLY COLOUR CODED

This diagram shows as fuses 38 and 32 so looks like the other one is wrong I think.

It was a while ago now and can't really remember but was it you who bought the A/B bumpers I took off my car by any chance?

Cheers
Col

Yes Col I bought the AB bumpers off you, I think it was about 6 years ago for my s/c RRS just before you moved away Very Happy

Ive still got the s/c RRS and still enjoying it and puts a smile on my face everytime I drive it Cool so have now bought a 2nd RRS TDV8 HST model recently but this car was not looked after too good so took it on as a project and am also and turning it into an AB conversion to match my s/c but this one has alot of little gremlins including no stereo and frozen land rover sign on screen, oil and possible ace leak, a noisy/squeeky fan belt, drivers door not staying locked after locking car but locks fine when car is on when it autolocks when driving and a few other little bits and bobs but slowly working through them, (I must be mad buying knowing it has all theses faults) but bought it as a project during lockdown, my 1st diesel ownership and will get it to a good standard when im finished Mr. Green Fingers crossed my s/c has not had any issues in years and has been well looked after and maintained and engine so far has been bulletproof and all its required is just its services and has never let me down Confused RRS SUPERCHARGED, 22 INCH ALLOYS, JAVA BLACK, FULLY COLOUR CODED

Thumbs Up Thought the user name seemed familiar for some reason, had a TDV8 before I bought the 5.0L S/C and it was a cracking motor. I know what you mean about the S/C's a smile to the face and a tear to the wallet Rolling with laughter if anybody buys a S/C and is concerned about fuel they bought the wrong car Laughing

Cheers
Col

The fuse or link in the top left (purple wire) was the one I was thinking of.

Worth Checking, could explain why both front and rear fogs have packed up seeing as they are on separate fuses.

Cheers
