Fingers crossed for you 🤞 only time I’ve ever had to have a car recovered in my 25years driving was when I got the sport 😬 still love it though. Steve

It will be still under warranty so they fix it or give you a refund. Just curious why if you only just be bought it, why did it need a service, did they not service it before you picked it up?

Garage rang today said it was oil pump failure and needs new engine
It would cost 4k and not covered under warranty as i drove it. I explained that oil light started to flick on and off on 50yards from my home and that i was at a road junction so had to turn and drive it the 50yards or block the road. They said they would pay £500
Only had it 6 weeks so contacted Citizens Advice who said i should be covered under the sales agreement. Garage calling back tomorrow to see what i want to do....my answer will be fix it at no cost to me
Can see a fight on the horizon 😟

They will more than likely refund you rather than pay to get it fixed.

They collected it next day and took it away
Spoke to him again and he said i was negligent and started to get loud and bossy lmao
Like i would just keep driving it knowing it was faulty
Spoke to citizens advice again and they said 100% i need to contact finance company as it definitely comes under consumer rights
Would ideally like it repaired and not to have the hassle then reject it
I do love the car

From his response, I wouldn't trust him to repair it properly either.

Get your money back, there's plenty out there for sale.
