FBH leaking

Hi,, has anyone ever had to overhaul or repair a FBH?. I noticed on mine the other day that an amount of smoke was coming from the near side front wheel arch,,,, thats ok I thought as the temp was just about 5 deg. A little later the same again,, but outsidetemp was a lot warmer so shouldn't have been working. When I got home lifted the bonnet and plenty smoke around the heater,, let it cool a bit and found a diesel stain on the top of the wheel arch under the heater so it's obviously leaking but not sure where. Fuel pipe looks OK but without taking the unit out can't really see much, did manage to source a seal kit from the webasto Web site for about £15 but just wondering if anyone has had any dealings with problems on these units. Unplugged the unit and no leaks when the engine is running. 2010 RRS, TDV8

Hi,
pop over to the D3 side of things as there is a FULL section on the FBH, with a couple of very good strip/rebuild threads.

be warned though there are lots of threads to read Laughing

Just been having a quick look through the post and I did notice on mine that the rubber connection is anything but flexible,,, maybe this is the problem, I will have a closer look over the weekend hopefully.
Thanks again 2010 RRS, TDV8
