Hi - ive a '57 TDV8, and ever since I bought it about 4 years ago, the selected gear notification on the 4x4 page of the centre OEM touchscreen always shows N, regardless of which gear im in.

Hmm. On my 2008, I hadn't noticed this at all! Just been out to check and yes, it does show "P", "R", "N" and "D". It does not show the relevant gear when in manual however. Short video may follow. Robin

Hi Andy - I've got the TV input set up (aftermarket), but it did this before I fitted that, ive just never got around to looking to understand why it doesn't work. Have now decided to look to understand. At least looking at responses here I know my screen is not working as it should. Just need to understand why mine isn't 'seeing' the actual gear the car is in. |
