Hello everyone,

Sorry for the first time post with a problem but I was hoping for some help. Had my 2009 RRS 3.0L diesel MY2010 for nearly a year now. Absolutely beautiful car but the electric fuel guage has now started playing up. It will show the correct level of fuel for about 30 seconds when first started but then the check fuel light comes on and the fuel guage goes down to zero. It still drives fine and I always keep it topped up with diesel but just want to know, is this a easy fix or a mechanic job? If dealer anyone arond North London, Hertfordshire at the London end or Essex at the London end who are willing to take a look and sort out?

Sounds like a well known fault for that age car. I had it on my 2011 TDV6 and it was a fixed free by LR not under the Approved Used Warranty as it was considered a design fault on the sender unit. There is a Technical Service Bulletin on it and a search on this site or D4 may help.
