[For Sale] Front to rear roof rails.

Brand new in the box selling due to a change of plans, these are for 05-13 plate sports. Asking £75 including postage but collection would be preferred.

Andy just check the fitting as I think (and I may be wrong Embarassed ) that those are for the facelifted RRS1, as I’m sure the prefacelifted has to have the solid rails. 2006 2.7 TDV6 HSE in Cairns Blue.

I believe that the 2010-2013 have the holes already there and the gaps in the
strip are covered by individual covers that sit in the drainage gully,
2005-2009/10 don't have the same holes but it can still me made to fit with a 19mm
hole cutter.

Hi and thanks again guys, yes Autobiography you are right and i had to do that on my D3 when i fitted roof rails to that. If you have the later one like mine you have the pop out plastic rivets.

Assuming that the fixing points are under the 3 round plastic covers spaced equally along the draining channel on the roof of my 59 plate facelift RRS then, if no one else has already taken them, I'd like to take these off your hands but would require the postage I'm afraid as you're aways away from me.

With genuine L/R rails you still have to increase the size of the hole to 19mm even after removing the plastic blanking plugs on 2010-2013 cars. The ones illustrated for sale do not look like genuine L/R so may be different.

Cheers

Confirmed that the fitting kit that came with these contained the correct size fixings.
Didn't stop me having to drill out the plastic caps from the car though, they were well and truly seized.

All done now though, they're a nice fit and feel plenty solid enough.

Pleased to hear Derek, these plastic poppers cause real grief and i wonder if they melt into place with the sun on them (well so called sun).

It actually looked as though water had got into the screw threads that they protect and surface corrosion on the threading of the hole had bonded to the plastic poppers, whilst the sun on the top cap had weakened it, causing 5 of the 6 to snap off, leaving my drill some work to do!
