Using headlight LEDS as DRL

Is there any way of keeping the front circular LED lights on when the ignition is on on the 2012 RRS, I have the IID Tool, if I need to set-up some type of DRL? Im looking ideally just for the LED lights not the main low beams - many thanks 2015 Range Rover Sport Autobiography 4.4

No, can only be done in conjunction with dipped headlights using the IID tool, although I believe others have done it via the fusebox by bridging the sidelight fuses somehow. Sure someone will post a link to how they manged to do it.

Cheers

I’ve done mine so that as soon as the car unlocks, the front and rear LED sidelights come on. If the car isn’t accessed in about 5 minutes they then switch off so they’re not left to drain the battery. I just used 4 brake out fuses, 2 pairs wired to a 4 pole on/off switch (so I can turn them off it goes to a garage).

Done exactly as Brit Plumber says, bridge the fuses and LEDs come on when you unlock the car and stay on, then go off when you lock the car.
No errors or issues either

As above, just bridge the connections in the fuse box.

Fuse 49 > Fuse 24
Fuse 50 > Fuse 25 Kev
