Gearbox flush, Norfolk

I'm aware that people are always looking for somewhere to get their gearbox oil changed, so here is a shout out for Church Farm 4x4, Bawsey, Kings Lynn, Norfolk PE32 1EU. https://churchfarm4x4.com/

Just had my 8 speed gearbox flushed and reset by them for £450

I have no affiliation to the company, but they have the machine and seem to know what they are doing Rolling with laughter

Would have used someone from this or Disco 3 forum, but no one local and not convenient as I needed it done sooner rather than later. RRS 2012 HSE Lux Alive stage 1 remap. timed heater, General Grabbers.

Did they use a Megaflush machine or a simple drop and fill? Visitor from fullfatrr.com

I was reckoning about £300 for the 6 speed, is the 8 speed materially more expensive?
If I'm wrong I stand to be corrected.

They used a Megaflush machine, so done properly.

I do know that 8 speed gearboxes use different oil to 6 speed gearboxes. but can't comment on price difference, but someone on here might know?

Unfortunately, unless you can get someone from either this or D3 forum to do it, it isn't cheap! But the way I look at it, is that it is cheaper than a recon gearbox Rolling Eyes RRS 2012 HSE Lux Alive stage 1 remap. timed heater, General Grabbers.

As they aren't too far from me, I have bookmarked this. I am aiming on having my 2010 done this year if nothing else more pressing comes up, worth a phone call if nothing else.
Many thanks for the post Thumbs Up

I charge £300 for a 6 speed flush, and £360 for an 8 speed

The 8 speed oil does cost more, and the procedure takes much longer

Thumbs Up

It doesn't need to, but some folks reset the gearbox adaptations afterwards.

As it's continuously learning anyway, I didn't. Kev
