MY local indie reset the gearbox when they did it last time. It was noticeably more responsive to the throttle pedal for a few dozen miles before reverting back to the usual "I might go, I might not" response. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

I've read a lot about that response issue. I've never had it on mine. I assume mine has never been remapped but I haven't driven any others to compare so I can't be sure. Does it occur on all of them? Kev

An Alive remap will get rid of that hesitation. Evans Garage nr Dorchester is the place to go nr Poole
