i dread to think what my insurance would be as i have used a motor trade policy for the last 25 years so have zero no claims bonus

Lol. I had a friend who had a motor trader policy at age 18 which let him drive any car which was good as he would buy Corvettes, Porches, TVR's etc, drive them for a few months and sell them on.
The best bit was his policy was insured on his main car which was a Hillman Imp and to make sure he never claimed on that main car, he buried it in his garden!!!
