United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Java Black
Detachable tow bar

Afternoon All.
Unfortunately my 2013 L320 RRS didn't come with the tow ball/bar. When I've searched online there is an array of choices. Could someone please give me a link so that I at least know what I am looking for 😜.
Better still, if someone has a spare/used one....

Many thanks.

AFAIK, they were the same for both 2.7 and 3.0 L320's as well as the D3 and D4. If you have a look through the historical "for sale" section on here and the Disco3 site you will see what you need and get an idea of prices. Mine also looks like the ebay item. If you can get it for anywhere near that price, it's a good buy.
I guess if owners get a rubbish P/X price for their cars, they strip out anything not bolted down, I know I would (when I P/X'd my D3 for a Honda they refused to throw in a set of carpet mats so I took all the gen LR rubber mats and dog guard out before I took it in. The salesman asked where they were and I told him they were being sold to buy a set of mats for the Honda)

Hi,
as said this type fits the L320 as well as the others,
Have you got the electrical sockets behind the cover plate Question

If I remember correctly there are 2 versions, the 05 to 10 and then the 10 onwards. The only difference as far as I’m aware is the plastic lock parts and they are interchangeable. So it shouldn’t matter which you get, it’s just one is a revised model. 2012 5.0 SC AB

I have 1 I'm not using. I have just fitted a Frontrunner raised towbar so it's just sitting in the boot

If you get the detachable towbar (like I have)
get the securing plate as well.

https://www.4x4overlander.com/product/disc...ity-plate/

It has been know for the towbar to detach whilst in use
the security plate prevents that from happening. 2013 L320 3.0 TD in grey! sometimes towing a Buccaneer Cruiser.

Hi,
the towbars are safe to use if they, like Everything else are maintained correctly Exclamation

if you are towing everyday then a fixed bar is more suitable, tintenting removables are fine landrover or not Thumbs Up

drove passed a van today parked at the side of the road that had a trailer missing a wheel and a big scrape mark on the road, suspect the wheel had fallen off Question

I'd second getting the plate. A quick bolt on and it certainly gave me peace of mind when towing a motorcycle trailer last year from Southern Spain to North Scotland! 2010 TDV8 - current - my first RRS, loving it so far......
2005 Cayenne S - handling defied physics and what a sound, so sod the mpg!
1995 Disco TDI- surprisingly reliable, shame about the peeling dash & other trim
Lots of other non 4X4's in between times.........
