Is there a retrofit or another year RRSport that has LED wing mirrors for the turn signals that I can fit?

Would really like to have this feature back on my car.

2014 on, could use RRS2 mirrors but still need Disco mountings that bolt to door. When I did mine I bought brand new mirrors probably have part numbers somewhere, but as usual with L/R rip-off prices the mirrors don't come complete.

I will dig them out later but will be around a £1000.00 for new parts, or it did four years ago when I did mine.

Shouldn't be to far away in Maidstone at least same county. If you have surround cameras that is a bit of a problem as RRS1's are totally different to the RRS2. Might have to activate the approach lights in the CCF files if you don't have those either. Also with Disco mirror approach lights the icon will different to the Sport.

Col beat me to that one, McFarTech said parts numbers would be grand and i was going to say that's probably what it would cost.

I got mine second hand off eBay. I say second hand but by the time I’d built the spec I wanted, there was only 1 original part left and the rest was new from eBay.

What spec do you want is probably the best way to approach it. I’m assuming the minimum spec you want to be, memory, heated and puddle lamp?

I went with memory, heated, puddle lamp, camera, water wading and electrochromic (the latter not available on D4 so borrowed from an L405).

If you buy new off ebay make sure they are RHD as the frame is different between left and right, everything else is the same. 2012 5.0 SC AB

Guys.

So I purchased a set of Discovery 4 facelift wing mirrors. The swap over was easy and they fold in and out , can move the glass , memory function works.

However the turn signals in the wing mirrors are not coming on. Do these need coding or need activating to work? Or do I need to run some cables off the side indicator to get them to come on?

I compared the old and the new plug and everything is identical in terms of cable colour and pin placement. ===========================================

Here is the connection. This is from the original mirrors but the Disco 4 block is exactly the same. Ive been hunting around , they only thing I can see close to this issue is using Disco 4 mirrors on a Disc 3 and someone had to wire the green which they identified as the led positive to the side indicator positive. I have no issues with doing that if its the correct thing. I had assumed this was all plug and play.

They don't need coding, but you do need to run a wire from the side repeater to the mirror led indicator feed, as I had some spare bits of harness around just found a wire with terminal on it which fitted in to the original plug on the car and connected it to the side repeater wiring also left original repeater bulb holder in place.
They were never going to be straight plug and play as the original repeater wiring on the car is different being in the door not the mirror. You may need to activate the puddle lights in the CCF files if you don't already have them fitted.

Do you happen to know what wire you pin you can tapped in to? I believe it to be the green one but interested to know what you used.

I have a multimeter so can prob work it out. ===========================================
