Oil leak

Guys, just a quick one as im driving to the Airport in a couple of hours.
Today at work a colleague told me when I drove off last night I left behind a patch of oil, so when I got home tonight i checked up on it.
The leak is coming from somewhere over the drivers front wheel, or is it?
I say this as I couldnt work it out, unless the ACE bar was leaking, so I looked under the bonnett, after checking the ACE fluid level, which was perfect I noticed the Dipstick was sitting a couple of inches pround of the top of the filler pipe, they was oil around the area, though I couldn't really tell how much as it was hard to see with my ickle torch.
So, what can cause the dipstick to get pushed out of its housing, as it was 100 seated when I checked everything last week.
If it can only be crankcase pressure, is there a pressure switch or filter somewhere which has become blocked

Not heard of crankcase pressure pushing a dipstick out that normally happns on high revving engines when the pistonsrings ae wearing, however as most engines are different i wouldnt rule it out.

Have you had the pads changed at all recently? New pads fitted will put pressure on the fluid tank if fluid wasnt taken out to compensate for the pistons going back into the callipers. Fluid will be expelled through the cap, but would also leave a mess around the filler cap. '06 RRS Supercharged Cairns Blue

Hi, the problem was that the engine was pressurising, and finding the path of least resistance to get out, which was through through the dipstick.
My independent Land rover specialist told me one or both turbos were leaking compression into the engine, causing the pressurisation, but initially only on full boost, so both needed oil seals replacing before the seals went altogether, which would take the engine out.
As the Turbo's are only available on a fully reconditioned exchange basis only, the cost was massive. 07,TDV8,Black, Black Heated leather all round, Rear Entertainment with Headpones & Remote, TV, DVD, Pure Dab Digital Radio, Sidesteps, Adaptive Headlights, sunroof, now working fuel burning heater Smile)))
