United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Santorini Black
MY2010 Locking/unlocking

I'm struggling to get my head round the way my 3.0 TDV6 can be locked or unlocked. If I lock with the key fob the mirrors fold in, if I then unlock with the fob they stay folded and I have to press the left and right mirror buttons together to get them to unfold. This issue seems to be the same if I unlock with the button too.
I've seen a post somewhere about the various sequences when locking/unlocking but can I find it Big Cry
Can anyone advise or give me a link to the post Thumbs Up

I do not know the post you refer to.

I have never had this issue with mine.

From the manual (might not help much):
AUTOMATIC FOLDING
The mirrors can be configured by your Dealer/Authorised Repairer to automatically fold when the vehicle is
locked, and unfold when it is unlocked.
Note: If the mirrors were folded using the switches, they will not unfold when the vehicle is unlocked. L405 P400e Autobiography (MY2020)... Silicon Silver / Espresso

I never use the buttons on the fob and mine fold automatically on locking and open out on unlocking, so I can't help other than to suggest you try keyless.

I’ve worked out that opening the car by pulling the handle doesn’t unfold the mirrors unless you do it on the passenger side ??

What about opening with the rear doors?

If you pin it down to the driver door it may be the driver door control module or wiring. Have you checked for DTCs? 2012 5.0 SC AB

Yeah it works with all 3 passenger doors, but hit n miss with the drivers door. The three passenger doors will unlock the car before any pull put on the handle whereas the drivers door needs to be pulled before it unlocks. What are TDC’s, fault codes ?
