Megaflush

Any recommendations on who to use for a Megaflush around the Derbyshire area?

On my wife's Disco3 and my previous BMW I swapped for the metal sump and drained the fluid twice as a preventative measure (no issues before or after). I've since just bought a L320 RRS and this judders slightly between 1500 and 2000 RPM in 3rd, from looking at other posts it may be best to do a mega flush and maybe add some Lubeguard rather than draining half the fluid twice. In the service history the fluid was swapped twice with genuine Lifeguard 6 about 4 years ago.

Thoughts / advice appreciated.

Chris

If the fluid was changed 4 years ago just add lube guard.

No point wasting money on a flush under these circumstances.

If it's juddering then the torque converter clutch is already going down hill. A flush won't make it better. A tube of Dr Tranny will help until you get the TC changed. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Thanks for the advice, makes sense to see how long I can delay replacing the torque converter using Lubeguard and getting the metal sump fitted at the same time as a new TC in the future.

I wouldn't be hard over on a metal sump. (they are prone to leak, don't always have a drain plug)

Just let the gearbox specialist fit what they want to
