Actualy mentions in Owners Handbook that reflective road signs can affect the operation of auto high beam, so may be relevant to high beam assist as well.

Mine is fine on a straight road but if there’s a corner, it doesn’t dip unless the oncoming vehicle flashes me, then it works instantly....but too late. I’ve also now disabled it. 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)
