Is it engine oil (black) or a lighter coloured oil? If engine oil, it could be from the turbo or the PCV pipe. Light coloured oil could be dynamic response system. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

Checked engine bay fluids & dynamic fluid on right side near airbox

Depends where it's leaking. The pipes themselves aren't that easy to do, I believe, as they're well buried. The pump is also well buried and requires the generator (alternator) to be removed first. Probably needs to go on a ramp and a good look to establish exactly where it's leaking first. It's the sort of job that has a big labour cost because the pipes aren't easy to get at. |
