2006 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Buckingham Blue

delivery delay

delivery delay due to customs in the port?

As most of you know that I ordered mine in July-2006 and still waiting for it, dealer in Dubai keep saying that he got 450 rrs supercharged waiting for delivery but the delivery date is still not confirmed yet, I did not understand why all this delay if he is claiming that he got them...?? today I call them again the answer was that the delivery will take 5 days time from the custom clearance in the port and the clearance is take place today so hopefully 5-6 day to get it

to be honest I did not fully understand the dealer story so anyone had similar experience before

all HSE RRS had been delivered 3 weeks ago so what's the story with supercharged one for 2007 last year we got supercharged before HSE this year just opposite, no way for diesel in UAE no body will appreciate
to have luxury vehicle with diesel engine, though TDV8 is a great car

Sorry to hear of your troubles, must be really frustrating, cant ubderstand why there should be a difference between a S/C and a HSE, it dont make much sense, sounds like it might be the usual dealer language, Bull Sxxt some of my Previous cars

don't miss this story, westerday my dealer call me to hadover all the reqiured paper to register my RRS (which I did not c it yet) next day
I registered it and payed insurance and I got the number plates ready to be fixed, I call the dealer that all this are ready...he was like ok give me some time to check if ur car is ready and the pr- delivery check is finished, I was waiting for long time then desided to go to him and hand over the nuber plates..it seams that the my RRS was on the way to reach the dealer and the pre check was just a fake story...I was so angry and just left them the plates and drove back home....after three hours the dealer call and appologized for misunderstanding and delay..he promise me to deliver it on coming Sunday..let's c what will happen next I will let u know...any such experience with delevery? what is the delivery precheck list?
by the way the dealer was she..never involve women in such bussiness

The delivery check list is basically a list of items the dealer needs to check/adjust on your car. You should request it from the dealer before you accept the car as evidence that they have done what they are supposed to have done. I think there is a link on D3 for this somewhere - will check. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Seriously though... did you change dealers coz of the sexy models?

Is there no way you could verify whether the car has actually arrived and is at the port? Surely the dealer should have some Customs forms with your car's VIN on it? Malaysia Boleh!

After all above story, finally I got it’s..07 supercharged, Buckingham Blue, Ivory,stormer wheels,
So far done 100 mile very impressive drive I like it
