Fault Code P2288 Can anyone help

Hi can anyone help with Fault Code P2288
Had both EGR Valves changed and Intercooler pipe replaced as it was split.
Still in limp mode and on diagnostics showing Injector pressure too high. Mobile mechanic has told me High pressure pump needs replacing which he cant do as body off job. Is he probably right or could it be something simpler. HELP Big Cry Big Cry Big Cry

Injector pressure is essentially the fuel rail pressure, controlled by the pressure regulator, which is part of the HPFP

It could be a wiring issue, or faulty fuel pressure sensor, so these should be ruled out first Thumbs Up
