| Socast Member Since: 25 Sep 2014 Location: Somerset Posts: 594      | I appreciate that a re-map will most likely give an increase in mpg when driven sedately, however the throttle response is quite sharp. If you have a more balanced/stock map you don't have to worry about blipping the throttle while on rough/wet roads and nailing yourself to the back of your seat or spinning out.

| d-9 Member Since: 10 Jan 2017 Location: Wiltshire Posts: 322      | I think you might be overreacting a little, I assumed the comment about buying a BMW was for the eco mode which adjusts map and throttle angle, not about calling you a chav! Everyone else was just explaining why you generally dont need two maps, and thus theyre not normally offered (Plus offering it on a stock ecu generally involves flashing custom code into the ECU).
