I'm sure the old M5's use the sport or Race button.

But the buttons were all integrated from the start by the factory |

TBH while I had my fingers crossed in hope, I kind of already knew that the answer was going to be no |

I've changed the exhaust, I'm debating whether to have the top pulley and a remap done at the same time.. |

This is beneficial. There's no way to make a switchable map, however if driven lightly you will see a small improvement in MPG, since you'll be running a tad leaner and the ignition adjustment will allow the mixture to burn better. Any wider throttle opening, however, you'll be using bucketloads of fuel. Regards etc., Wojtek --- WAS: 2006 RRS Supercharged IS: 2010 RRS TDV8 HSE |

My SDV6 is Alive! Pulls like a train now and the torque is superb. |

Isn't saying "or thought about doing any of those tacky 'mods" just as snide as the remarks you were complaining about?

My remark about the 'mods' could be considered to be snide, but it wasn't directed at anyone and it was also an opinion rather than an insult.

Thats the supercharger speed, not the engine speed, I've had a look round and can't find the ratio that the charger spins at comparatively to the engine.

Good info but I'm confused why various sites say you can get 40-50hp from a 10% pulley but you say it goes asthmatic and does nothing

Not sure about ratio's or rpm for that matter but I do know Alive Tuning re-mapped my 5.0L S/C and fitted upgraded s/c pulley and it pulls like a train all the way with no noticable "tail off". According to their rolling road it's producing 560+bhp and 750Nm torque. |
