Hi.
Have read posts and written posts with great responses with regards to wet passenger footwell.
I've fixed the exterior A pillar plugs. And have checked and cleaned the sun roof drainage pipes.
But i still have a soaking wet footwell. Would the black 'plastic' cover at the bottom of the windscreen - exterior have something to do with this. Just noticed that mine doesn't sit flush to the windscreen.




I presume this isn't normal. Can it be repaired or is it replacement only?

Hi, yes. If the black scuttle cover doesn't fit tight to the screen water gets past and drips into the ventilation air intake. The cover is held in place with clips like those on the A pillar. Try just pushing hard to make them clip in. If that doesn't work you'll need to take it off and replace some of the clips.

had a quick peek and seems that clips are broken. any idea on whether these on ebay or a genuine LR part.

If I remember correctly they are white clips with a rubber gasket so probably these:

Would you believe L/R don't list the clips for the scuttle panel separate, but I'm sure you are right they are the white one's with the seal the Part No. for these is LR013135

Steve, if you google part no. should get picture to compare with your own.

Have checked the clips and they are broken, also pressing down the scuttle panel / cowl seals the gap but it looks like it might be warped. So probably best to order a new one.
