Shocked that second youtube clip makes it look easy Laughing

I've looked on topix for the door card - seems straight forward enough to remove but ideally looking for someone who has actually removed one - the current scratches are Censored me off Twisted Evil

Hi Mate,

Door cards easy enough just a couple of things, the chrome/noble bit in the door pull handle is a bit of a pain just be gentle with it as there are a couple of the clips that fly in to oblivion on it, one at each end which are a bit of a sod to release, also there are some plastic hook type clips moulded to it as well which are easy to snap off if not care full.

There is a knack to removing the tweeter trim as well, un-pop the plastic clip at the top and pull out slightly and get a long thin flat screwdriver and if you look down behind it there is a plastic lug goes into the door card with a tang on it, you can just release it with the screwdriver and pull the cover up, can do it without the screwdriver but sometimes breaks the lug off and will need a new cover.

Cheers
Col

Hi mate
The glass is very easy to remove here is my quick step by step.
1. Unclip door tweeter speaker cover 1x clip at the top the cover will stay on the door card when removed.
2. Unscrew all the screws that hold door card on think there is a maximum of 3 or 4.
3. Gently Unclip all the fastens around door once removed remove all electrical plugs.
4. with the window glass in the closed position, get some masking tape and tape it around the top part of the door to stop it falling when you remove the window motor mechanism.
5. Unscrew all the bolts that hold motor mechanism in position once all bolts are removed you'll need to gently tap it as its stuck in with double sided tape around the edges, once this has been done you'll see 2X white plastic lugs where the glass sits in.
6. Unclip window from plastic lugs. Remove motor mechanism.
7. You will now be able to ( 2 person job ) remove masking tape and carefully lift out window it will need various tilting actions but will remove.

Hope that helps.

As Mark say's there are 4 screws 1 each end 2 in middle under noble trim, also need to remove the 1 behind door release handle pop out little plastic cover first easy enough with finger nail.
